Institute Pasteur of Shanghai (IPS) is an an independent research institution jointly established by
IPS, equipped with an advanced research platform and technical system with complete scientific research layout,including pathogenic microbiology, immunology, vaccinology, intestinal microecology and health, pathogen discovery and epidemic prediction technology based on big data. At the same time, based on the global network of Pasteur, IPS has exclusive global resources to satisfy the tropical diseases research, which is also close up the major infectious diseases outbreak of hot spots, covering Maritime Silk Road. 1. Field of Vacancy
IPS is seeking outstanding scientists for the positions of Senior Professor and Principal Investigator in the field of Vaccine
2. Talent Acquisition
a. Senior Professor (2 positions)
-Have the experience of serving as an associate professor or above and equivalent positions in well-known universities, scientific research institutions or companies. -Have deep academic attainments in the field of vaccinology, virology, immunology, etc., and has certain accumulation in the field of new vaccine research and technology development, and have the potential to improve to a higher level.
-Have the ability to accurately grasp disciplinary dynamics and development directions and a wide range of international academic influence, and are generally recognized by international counterparts.
-Have achieved significant results or overcome key core technical problems.
-Have leading capabilities, can train young talents, and support the construction of corresponding disciplines.
b. Principal Investigator (5 positions)
-Have acknowledged achievements in the field of vaccinology, virology, immunology etc., have certain academic accumulation in the field of new vaccine research and technology development, and have the potential to improve to a higher level.
-Have a doctorate degree, and have more than 3 consecutive years of postdoctoral or equivalent technical research and development experience in well-known scientific research institutions, universities or enterprises.
-Have experience in leading innovation activities and excellent academic communication skills.
-Possess advanced and key core technologies, as well as products or achievements with independent intellectual property rights.
-Possess excellent technological innovation potential and teamwork leadership ability.

3. Introduction Procedure

Review process
After receiving the detailed resume of the applicant, the institute will organize a preliminary examination on the applicant's qualification.
After passing the preliminary examination, the Institute will organize experts to evaluate the applicant's materials.
After the material evaluation is passed, the Institute will organize both inside and outside experts to conduct evaluation on the applicant.
After passing the evaluation, the institute will decide whether to hire the candidate or not with reference to the evaluation opinions of the expert group.
