Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop, plan, organize wide array of events and programs relevant to alumni interaction across alumni group, undergraduates and external supporters, with a view of supporting SME undergraduates and alumni career development locally and internationally, etc.;

2. Build a strong and cohesive alumni body and manage the alumni data system;

3. Strengthen communication among the school, alumni and external supporters, enhance their involvement and relationship; e.g. edit and share the school updates (e.g. newsletters) to alumni on regular basis;

4. Act as an effective liaison among the University, School, Alumni and Supporters, provide timely feedback and supports to all the parties;

5. Other ad hoc task related to External Affairs.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree  holder with 6 + years’ work experience gained in sizeable international organization; with prior experience in relationship management or career management will be highly preferred;

2. Proficiency in modern relationship management knowledge, skills and tools that enable job taker to set up and implement the business school Alumni Management strategy. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to interact with different stakeholders effectively;

3. A resourceful and practical collaborator, possesses strong project management skills and be able to independently manage and complete multiple projects within time frame;

4. Can-do attitude with strong sense of ownership, always strive for improvement with creative thinking;

5. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

 

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
