Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Professor Dame Carol Robinson on a research project funded by MRC for a period of 6 months in the first instance. The project involves exploring new methods of extraction and characterisation of membrane protein complexes compatible with mass spectrometry.
You should have a PhD in chemistry or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up the post. You should also have expertise in membrane proteins.
The post is available from 1 August 2013 and will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford.
Only applications received before 12.00 midday on Wednesday 26 June 2013 can be considered.
The University of Oxford and the Department of Chemistry are Athena SWAN bronze award holders.
Applications are particularly welcome from women and black and ethnic minority candidates, who are under-represented in Chemistry research posts in Oxford.
