Job Description
A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jie Wu. The successful candidate will conduct molecular, cellular, and animal model studies of oncogenes in carcinomas with a lung cancer focus. A recent Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular cell biology or related field is required. Candidates must have a background in cell signaling, biochemistry, molecular cell biology, immunology, pharmacology and/or animal models. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, committed to scientific research, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Moffitt Cancer Center is a modern facility located on the University of South Florida Campus that conducts research on various aspects of Cancer Biology with emphasis on translational research. Research environment includes state of the art modern core facilities, pathogen-free modern animal facilities, and access to clinical materials.
