Post-Doctoral Fellow Position in Childhood Obesity and Physical Activity in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
The Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking applicants for a full-time postdoctoral fellow position. The post-doctoral training will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. SoJung Lee, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. The successful applicant will participate in a NIH-funded multidisciplinary clinical trial led by Dr. Lee to examine the role of physical activity in reducing risk factors for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease in obese adolescents.
Qualifications:
-PhD in exercise or obesity research with strong scientific publication record
-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
-Research experience in the study of body composition methods (e.g., MRI, 1H-MRS) or exercise testing is preferred
-Proficiency in data management, statistical analysis and data interpretation
