Required Education and Experience: Appropriate doctoral degree in relevant field of study. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Ability to perform all tasks and job responsibilities safely without injury to self and others in compliance with A&M System and TAMHSC guidelines.
Preferred Education and Experience: MD or Ph.D.; Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular & Cellular Biology, or Pathophysiology/Physiology obtained within the last 6 years; 3 years related research experience with publications.
Job Detail: Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Ability to perform all tasks and job responsibilities safely without injury to self and others in compliance with A&M System and HSC guidelines. Planning and execution of experiments and production of data. Lab management. Use of computer equipment to generate data. Order supplies. Cell culture and other duties as assigned.
Work Hours: 8am-5pm with evenings, nights and weekends as needed.
