An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post-doctoral scientist within Prof. Caroline Dive’s Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology Group. The research within the preclinical pharmcology team will focus on our unique small cell lung cancer (SCLC) circulating tumour cell (CTC) derived explant tumour models (CDX) and analysis of CTCs isolated from SCLC patients. The successful candidate will investigate the contribution of epithelial to mesenchymal transition and cell co-operation in the haematological dissemination of lung cancer with a focus on circulating tumour microemboli (cell clusters).
You will have a PhD in oncology, cell biology or molecular pharmacology and have a strong desire to see their research translated for patient benefit.
