Post Doctoral Associate
Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly-qualified and motivated postdoctoral fellow with an interest in Enzymology, Structural Biology, and Chemical Biology. The lab focuses on using a variety of biochemical methods to solve problems at the interface of chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. Specific project areas include structure function studies on the Protein Arginine Deiminases, a class of histone modifying enzymes whose activity is dysregulated in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cancer, as well as the identification of citrullinated biomarkers of disease. Our lab is furnished with new, state-of-the-art equipment and is housed within the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, at The University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA.
Job Requirements
Requirements: PhD in a relevant discipline and related scientific experience.
