Job Description
A postdoctoral associate position for a highly motivated candidate is available immediately in the Angiogenesis Research Group at YORK UNIVERSITY, Toronto, Ontario. The focus of this funded position is to investigate molecular regulators of adipose and skeletal muscle angiogenesis in the context of obesity and diabetes. Applicants must have a PhD in physiology, biological sciences or a related discipline, a strong record of research productivity and expertise in the use of cellular and molecular techniques. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools is an asset and prior experience working with rodent models of diabetes is desirable. The successful applicant will integrate within a dynamic research team that interacts routinely with local and international collaborators.
