The Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine at RUTGERS – New Jersey Medical School is seeking a postdoctoral fellow. Qualifications: M.D. and/or Ph.D. and/or DVM in a related field required, including at least 3 years of research experience relating to cardiovascular physiology and/or biochemistry/molecular biology in animal models. Additional cellular, molecular biology, genomics, proteomics and biochemistry techniques. Must possess good skills in computer and data analysis. U.S. citizen, green card or visa required. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary to meet deadlines. Must be willing to work with small and large animals. Responsibilities: Under direction of the Principal Investigator, performs basic scientific research activities involved in animal physiology, cellular and molecular biology and biochemistry.
