We are seeking two motivated postdoctoral researchers, who are interested in type 1 diabetes and metabolic research, with focus on metabolomics. Successful applicants will join Academy of Finland Centre of Excellence in Molecular Systems Immunology and Physiology (SyMMyS) at Turku Centre for Biotechnology, BioCity Turku, Turku, Finland led by Adj. Prof. Matej Oresic. The research group is international and multidisciplinary and the postdoctoral researchers will work on biomarker discovery, particularly on metabolomics. The primary aim of the research is to develop robust methods for the identification of disease markers based on metabolic profile data.
Successful applicants have:
A doctoral degree in computational biology/metabolomics.
Research experience in the field of metabolomics.
Outstanding personal initiative and communication skills.
High quality publications in international journals in at least one of the following areas: computational biology, fluxomics or metabolomics.
Excellent skills in computational biology, fluxomics and metabolomics.
