　　Postdoctoral Fellowship:  Multiple

　　Postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, New Jersey medical school/Robert Wood Johnson Medical school, Rutgers University (Newark or New Brunswick, NJ, USA). The fellows will join a highly interactive and collaborative research team to study immune microenvironment

　　and immunotherapy in the context of cancer, viral hepatitis and atherosclerosis. These topics will be investigated using innovative tools including a variety of lines of patient derived xenografts, humanized mouse models, self-developed CAR-T Cell therapies, automative(robot) rodent cigarette and aerosol exposure machine . We have an excellent environment and track-record for trainees interested in reaching their next level of career. The positions have the potential to develop into independent investigators at the same institution.

　　Qualifications:  The positions require that the applicants have one of the following degrees: a PhD or an MD by the time of employment with preferred research expertise in one or more of the following scientific areas: Immunology, cancer biology, vascular biology, virology and cellular/molecular biology. Candidates must be eligible to be supported by NIH grants. Candidates with direct expertise in working with laboratory animals in a biomedical research setting are also preferred. Highly motivated, creative, and devoted to project and career goals are expected.

　　Appointment:  The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of renewal for 2 more years. Stipend follows NIH standard rates with travel funds available for participation at scientific conferences.
