Job Description
Multiple postdoctoral fellowship positions are available at Department of Radiation Physics, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA.
Under the supervision of Prof. S. H. Cho, the appointed postdoctoral fellows will work on the development of novel x-ray & gamma ray imaging modalities for both preclinical and clinical applications. Candidates should hold a PhD degree in physics, engineering, or other related disciplines.
While experience in x-ray & gamma-ray imaging or general imaging science & engineering is desirable, applications from candidates who have strong expertise in other experimental or theoretical/computational techniques will also be considered. Especially, those who have experience in Monte Carlo modeling (using MCNP, FLUKA, Geant4, etc. for neutron/photon transport) are encouraged to apply. Experience in nanoparticle applications is a plus.
Each position is renewable annually upon satisfactory performance. The pay scale follows the current NIH postdoc salary standard.
