The postdoc positions are available at Tulane National Primate Research center. The laboratory, supported by NIH R01s, focuses on cure strategy in HIV infection, and increased pediatric morbidity and mortality in maternal HIV or HIV/Mtb co-infection utilizing nonhuman primate model. The translational goals are to identify clinical relevance in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
Preferred applicants should have enthusiasm in these medical researches with high motivation and creativity. Candidates with a strong research background in Immunology/Molecular Biology (PhD or equivalent) or Bioinformatics (MD/PhD equivalent, experiences in cell-free DNA library screening, BCR/TCR repertoire, microbiota signature, single-cell transcriptome and epigenomics, phylogeny, and analysis proficiently used with various software) are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates will conduct independent research requiring the use of research animals and samples, as well as collaborate with research staff in experiments and data analysis.
