模式識(shí)別國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室是由原國(guó)家計(jì)委投資成立的首批國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室之一，實(shí)驗(yàn)室依托中國(guó)科學(xué)院自動(dòng)化研究所，現(xiàn)有固定人員73人，其中“百人計(jì)劃”研究員7人，國(guó)家杰出青年基金獲得者4人，45歲以下青年科技工作者占80％。實(shí)驗(yàn)室流動(dòng)人員包括博士后、研究生、高級(jí)訪問(wèn)學(xué)者和客座研究人員，形成了一個(gè)以年輕學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人為核心、以青年科研骨干為主體和以高素質(zhì)的研究生隊(duì)伍為主力的研究梯隊(duì)。
實(shí)驗(yàn)室以模式識(shí)別基礎(chǔ)理論、圖像處理與計(jì)算機(jī)視覺(jué)、語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)言信息處理為主要研究方向，研究模式識(shí)別的機(jī)理以及有效的計(jì)算方法，為開發(fā)智能系統(tǒng)提供關(guān)鍵技術(shù)。成立二十多年來(lái)，實(shí)驗(yàn)室始終“面向國(guó)家戰(zhàn)略需求，瞄準(zhǔn)國(guó)際學(xué)科前沿”，努力建設(shè)成為一個(gè)高水平的、國(guó)際化的科研基地。
根據(jù)國(guó)家科技部《國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室建設(shè)與運(yùn)行管理辦法》以及中國(guó)科學(xué)院《關(guān)于2012年信息領(lǐng)域國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室換屆工作的通知》，現(xiàn)面向國(guó)內(nèi)外公開招聘實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任1名。具體事項(xiàng)如下：
一、崗位職責(zé)
1．組織制定實(shí)驗(yàn)室的發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略和發(fā)展規(guī)劃，并予以實(shí)施；
2．吸引和支持優(yōu)秀學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人和青年學(xué)術(shù)骨干，構(gòu)建創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)，形成一支在國(guó)內(nèi)外有影響的高水平研究隊(duì)伍；
3．提高實(shí)驗(yàn)室科研能力和水平，組織申請(qǐng)、承擔(dān)重大科技項(xiàng)目(含國(guó)際合作)，爭(zhēng)取取得一批標(biāo)志性的、有重要影響的成果；
4．促進(jìn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室研究工作與多學(xué)科交叉融合，加強(qiáng)實(shí)驗(yàn)室與國(guó)內(nèi)外的學(xué)術(shù)交流，提高實(shí)驗(yàn)室的學(xué)術(shù)影響和地位。
二、應(yīng)聘條件
1．在本領(lǐng)域獲得博士學(xué)位，具有開闊的戰(zhàn)略視野，在信息領(lǐng)域有較深的學(xué)術(shù)造詣和較高的國(guó)內(nèi)外知名度；
2．具有主持國(guó)內(nèi)外大型科研項(xiàng)目的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，具有帶領(lǐng)科研團(tuán)隊(duì)的經(jīng)歷，具有較強(qiáng)的組織管理與協(xié)調(diào)能力；
3．具有較廣泛的國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)聯(lián)系與較強(qiáng)的國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)交流能力
4．身心健康，為人正直，具有高度的敬業(yè)精神；
5．全職、全時(shí)在實(shí)驗(yàn)室工作，最遲于2012年12月31日前到位。

National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition
Director Position Open
The National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Automation (CASIA), Beijing, China, is looking for a full-time researcher serving as director for five-year term (2013-2017). Qualified researchers from worldwide are welcome to apply.
Introduction of NLPR
The NLPR was founded in 1987 to become one of the first state key laboratories in China. Its mission is to conduct cutting-edge research in the broad area of pattern recognition, to develop key technologies, and to train postgraduate students. Currently, the NLPR has 73 staff members, including 68 staff researchers, and nearly 300 graduate students and visiting scholars. The research directions of the NLPR include the fundamentals of pattern recognition, image processing and computer vision, speech and language processing, and the applications to various areas. Duties of the Director
- Plan and execute the development strategy of the laboratory
- Establish competitive research teams via attracting excellent researchers
- Propose and execute key research projects from the government and international programs

Qualifications
- PhD in pattern recognition or related fields
- Well established and renowned in the international community
- Experience of conducting key research projects and skills of team management
- Professional dedication, willing to work at the laboratory in full time
